This is a basic run down of The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show's "Pool Gig" Skateboard Contest Production. Please keep in mind that this is a filmed production. Except more great stuff to be added to this event very soon. The only thing that is "NOT" 100% confirmed is the cash prizes. We have everything else in hand and ready to go.

Last year we pitted the placewinners of the three age divisions against each other in The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show's "Battle Of The Summit". In the case of that event in Dunedin's "BATTLE OF THE SUMMIT", the first place winner was 11 year old Alex Sorgente , second place was 10 year old Ragin’ Haze Miller, and third went to a 14 year old girl Gnarly Marlee Miller. Scoring was a points system based on trick variety, style and level of difficulty. Highest score wins. It made for a show that only a "HOLLYWOOD" script could produce. "VERY EDGE OF THE SET EXCITEMENT"

The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show's Pool Gig will be hosted by: Morgan “Hollywood” Monroe, Matt “Harbor” Sendejo, and Tom “The Ripper” Spano. The main event we be the "POOL" with The same "Battle Of The Summit" format, we will pitt the placewinners of the three age divisions against each other. Scoring will be the same points system based on trick variety, style and level of difficulty, highest score wins.

On Saturday, April 18th, 2009 Matt Sendejo, Tom Spano and Morgan "HOLLYWOOD" Monroe bestowed Mayor Dave Eggers and The City of Dunedin, Florida a large and beautiful trophy and plaque to be displayed for all to see in City Hall. This was to be one in many amazing parts in the Hollywood Summit Show's "Battle of the Summit" skateboard competition production. This June 26'th we hope to hand Mayor Dave Eggers the trophy and plaque with paper work that will change the history of skateboarding in Florida for ever. We will post more on this very soon.

The After Party (A RED CARPET EVENT) celebrating the birthday of The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show's Host's Morgan "HOLLYWOOD" Monroe, Tom "The Ripper" Spano and Summit Party Host Jimmy Hoffman with cake and coffee form The Official Bakrey "Peace Love & Cake" and coffee "Buttons Brew" of The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show:
Bruce Walker Films "The PAYOFF" (2010) will have it's red carpet premiere.
Lots BBQ, finger food and appetizers.
5 Live bands. (rock, reggae and surf punk)
The Godfather of Florida Skateboarding "Bruce Walker" will be bestowed a plaque thinking him for giving so much to the sport of skateboarding. "Lifetime Achievement Award"

The trophies for this event have already been made and are ready to go.

Last show 300 free HOLLYWOOD Summit Show's "Battle Of The Summit" Tee Shirts were given out with all the sponsor's logos on it. We are working to do the same on this event.

The Surfrider FoundationThe Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 50,000 members and 90 Chapters worldwide.

Grind For Life, Inc
The mission of the Grind For Life organization is to provide financial assistance to cancer patients and their families when traveling long distances to doctors and hospitals. In addition, we educate and inspire these patients and families concerning cancer survival and recovery. Those who qualify may request assistance for travel and lodging expenses, meal, and personal needs. Funds for this organization will be raised by, but not limited to, hosting skateboarding events and festivals, ebay sales of donated goods, fundraiser's, Grind For life sponsors a skateboard team to perform at these events to keep the spirit of skateboarding alive.

Visions
Our ultimate goal with this organization is to have a couple of apartments near Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in Manhattan, so people who are receiving treatment at the hospital can have their family near them. We want to be able to provide a comfortable place to stay, charge fees based on a sliding scale, provide support for those who are not accustomed to the city, and make a rough situation a little easier for those who travel long distances for treatment.

THE IAN TILMANN FOUNDATION, INC.
was incorporated in November 2005 as a Florida Non-Profit corporation. The Foundation is certified as a Public Charity under the Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) with Florida Tax Exemption Certification. Our core mission is brain injury prevention. We accomplish this mission by distributing safety helmets and educational materials throughout our local community. The Foundation educates young people and their families about the dangers and consequences of failing to wear safety gear, particularly helmets. The Foundation promotes safety and brain injury prevention to youngsters and adults engaged in any skating or cycling sport (skateboards, in-line skating, bicycling, and foot powered scooters).
